Who are the Support Team?

The Support Team consists of a Legal Advisor, Financial Advisor, Family and Friends, exercise Buddy and a Relationship, Break-Up & Divorce Coach.

Why is a Support Team important?

In the initial aftermath of a break-up when emotions are extremely raw and there are often a lot of tears, it takes time to adjust and there is no magic wand for a quick fix. It’s important to know it is a natural and important part of the healing process. This is where the Break-Up Support Team comes in – this is a good starting point on the road to recovery from heartbreak.

Just having these people identified will massively reduce stress and overwhelm – even if they are never used. Just knowing there are people that can be turned to if needed will be a huge relief and dial down the emotions of the situation.

When it comes to picking a Legal Advisor and Financial Advisor, it is important that the client does their own research to find the most suitable option to them, both financially as well as alignment to their style and values.

When it comes to choosing friends and family, it would be ideal to choose a good, trustworthy and non-judgmental family member or friends that will give you impartial advice and not inflame an already difficult situation.

Lastly, it’s very important to stay active and do some exercise even if it’s just going for a walk to start. An exercise buddy (that can also be a friend) is an excellent way to help you get motivated.
